Standing in The Purple Light

A great start to the new year - Standing in The Purple Light has been published by Strung Sporting Journal.  This one is a really special essay for me, revisiting one of my father’s favorite terms – Purple Light. Strung describes it as a thoughtful and moving narrative stitching the tale of an unforgettable morning in the woods with meditations built in rueful hindsight. Reflections of life and loss all bathed in the magical “Purple Light” of dawn.
